2026 ARDC Annual Survey is now open!

The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) invites you to participate in a short survey about your interaction with the ARDC and use of our national research infrastructure and services. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes and is anonymous. It’s open to anyone who uses our digital research infrastructure services including Reasearch Link Australia.

We will use the information you provide to improve the national research infrastructure and services we deliver and to report on user satisfaction to the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program.

Please take a few minutes to provide your input. The survey closes COB Friday 29 May 2026.

Complete the 5 min survey now by clicking on the link below.

    Summary
Design and synthesis of novel lanthanoid complexes for the fabrication of light emitting devices. There is a huge and still growing economy centred around the design and fabrication of low-cost Light Emitting Devices (LEDs), as demonstrated by the excess of US$1.3 billion invested in this field between 2000 and 2007. Nations focused on the production of new and more efficient materials will be at the forefront of these emerging technologies. The major thrust of this proposal, the design and prep .... Nations focused on the production of new and more efficient materials will be at the forefront of these emerging technologies. The major thrust of this proposal, the design and preparation of luminescent rare earths complexes, and their use for the fabrication of LEDS, represent a good opportunity for Australia to access this growing market.

    Summary
Confinement of space based on association of water soluble container molecules. The proposed research addresses the use of water soluble bowl shaped molecules or ions (cavitands) in conjunction with metal ions and crown ether and related cryptand molecules to form molecular capsules, two or more of the components being pre-programmed to assemble thus. The new materials will be unique in supramolecular chemistry, with the associated architectures bearing on materials science, molecular electronic .... The proposed research addresses the use of water soluble bowl shaped molecules or ions (cavitands) in conjunction with metal ions and crown ether and related cryptand molecules to form molecular capsules, two or more of the components being pre-programmed to assemble thus. The new materials will be unique in supramolecular chemistry, with the associated architectures bearing on materials science, molecular electronics, separation sciences, and drug delivery. The new range of water soluble container molecules that will become accessible as part of this proposal, promises new applications in these areas.
