Expected outcomes of this project include improved approaches to how the art sector engages with uncomfortable colonial histories. This should provide significant benefits such as enhanced relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people by supporting non-Indigenous artists to engage in sensitive truth-telling about Australia’s colonial past.
