Funded Activity Summary

High throughput Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility. This project aims to establish a new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy facility to support high-throughput compound identification The facility will re-establish the cutting-edge capabilities of Western Australia’s NMR facilities, which will support research across diverse regional priorities including energy and minerals, ecology, evolution and the environment and medicine and health. This facility will enable testing of larger sample numbers in smaller quantities and support research in emerging areas, such as the study of drugs, new materials and soils. It is also expected to open up new opportunities in areas such as metabolomics and oil and gas processing, and expand capacity to meet the increasing demand.
